Faster Browsing in Windows Explorer on Network Computers

                 

By default, a Windows XP machine connecting to a Windows 95/98/Me computer will search for scheduled tasks or enabled printers on the remote computer. Two sub-keys control this behavior. Deleting them will speed up browsing on the remote computer.

Here is the Tweak...

[Start] [Run] [Regedit]
 
Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\
RemoteComputer\NameSpace

Modify/Create the Value Data Type(s) and Value Name(s) as detailed below.

Disable Scheduled Task Checking
Value Name: {D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}
Delete the sub-key in the left pane of Registry Editor

Disable Printer Checking
Value Name: {2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D}
Delete the sub-key in the left pane of Registry Editor

Exit Registry and Reboot

How to add song to your orkut profile

Yeah..! you can add a song of your wish to your orkut profile so that people who visits your profile can hear that song. Here is the process. Just follow those steps.


Step one

Have a song in your Mind :)
Get a working Mp3 Link of that song

Example For a Mp3 link of is given below .
http://www.escapadehigh.com/Stuff/Deliah.mp3

Remember , A Mp3 link always ends with .mp3
Sites Given Below will help to get mp3 links

www.123musiq.com For Hindi , Malayalam ,Telugu , Tamil
www.skreemr.com For English
www.songs.pk For Hindi  

Step Two

Visit to www.Orkut.com

If u are using new orkut , Switch to older version

 
Step Three

Go to your scrap book of Your Orkut ( Old Orkut )

 Step Four 

Copy the below Html code and Paste it into your old Orkut Scrapbook

Step Five

Dont add any space after .mp3 and = sign

then select and copy ~.* from the preview.

Step Seven

Switch To New Orkut .

 Step Eight

Go To Your New Orkut Profile and Paste the ~.* in your 'About me' box.

Imp : Only paste it in your new orkut profile not inside Old Orkut about me

PS : Try Not To Remove The ~ , * From About Me
Its will look lil annoying But It will help u to delete the song when u are bored

Boot Windows XP Fast

Follow the following steps

1. Open notepad.exe, type "del c:\windows\prefetch\ntosboot-*.* /q" (without the quotes) & save as "ntosboot.bat" in c:\
2. From the Start menu, select "Run..." & type "gpedit.msc".
3. Double click "Windows Settings" under "Computer Configuration" and double click again on "Shutdown" in the right window.
4. In the new window, click "add", "Browse", locate your "ntosboot.bat" file & click "Open".
5. Click "OK", "Apply" & "OK" once again to exit.
6. From the Start menu, select "Run..." & type "devmgmt.msc".
7. Double click on "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
8. Right click on "Primary IDE Channel" and select "Properties".
9. Select the "Advanced Settings" tab then on the device or 1 that doesn't have 'device type' greyed out select 'none' instead of 'autodetect' & click "OK".
10. Right click on "Secondary IDE channel", select "Properties" and repeat step 9.
11. Reboot your computer.
